All are welcome (newcomers, friends, past attendees, occasional church visitors). There will be inflatables for all ages. Come dressed casually and bring your own lawn chairs and any lawn games you would like. The meat and drinks will be provided. Those attending with last names beginning with A-L are asked to bring a dessert. Those attending with last names beginning with M-Z are asked to bring a salad or side dish. Be sure to bring your food in coolers or food safe containers ready to serve. We have a signup sheet in the foyer for you to volunteer your help for the picnic. Please sign up or contact Scott Bernhard.

cf newsletter 6-22 finalBaptism pictures
Here is a link to enjoy the pictures taken by Ken Falls during the Baptism on Sunday, May 15, 2022. We were blessed to watch five children get baptized and celebrate with them. You may download any pictures free of charge.
Believer’s Baptism-May 15
On Sunday, May 15, will have a Believer’s Baptism in the Sanctuary following the worship service. Water baptism is an outward sign or testimony of the inward work of the Holy Spirit, who baptizes the believer into the Body of Christ. (Matthew 3:11, 1 Corinthians 12:13) In doing this, we identify ourselves with our risen Lord and Savior. If you are ready to publicly declare your faith as a follower of Jesus Christ, please talk to an Elder.
Easter Sunday Worship-April 17
There will be TWO different services of worship on Easter Sunday morning (April 17):
9:00 AM – Remembrance Service with communion
9:45 AM – Fellowship time
10:15 AM – Worship Service
Juanpa Wong will be giving the message during the Worship Service.
There will be Children’s Church during the Easter Worship Service but not during the Remembrance Service.
Between the two services, there will be a time of fellowship downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. We are asking people to bring Easter breads, cut and ready to share during this time.
Easter Choir practice begins March 8
We have chosen some wonderful choir music to sing on Easter Sunday (April 17). Please consider joining us this season to sing of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The first choir practice will be on Tuesday, March 8 from 6:30-7:30pm. If you love to sing and are interested in joining the choir, please see Carol Stanik so she can prepare a music book and CD for you.
Pioneer Club Sunday
This Sunday (Feb 13) is Pioneer Club Sunday. The children will be singing for the congregation during the worship service and hosting a Bake Sale after the service. The proceeds will go the Pioneer Club Headquarters. Pioneer Clubs provide weekly programs for boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade each Wednesday night at 6:45pm at Christian Fellowship. The club helps children make Christ Lord in every aspect of life, form healthy relationships, develop life skills, sing, memorize scripture and study God’s word. And that’s worth celebrating!!
Annual Congregational Meeting
Our Annual Congregational Meeting will be on Sunday, February 27 during the Sunday School hour (approx. 11:30 am.). Please plan to attend since we will be voting on the new budget and other church matters. In order to cast a vote, you must be a doctrinal signer, at least 18 years of age, and have attended Christian Fellowship for at least one year. (If you would like to sign a Desire for Fellowship form, please see one of the elders.)
Copies of the proposed 2022 budget will be available in the next few days. A Question and Answer meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 22 at 6:30pm to discuss the budget report prior to the Congregational Meeting.
