Two New Sunday School Classes Begin

StrongerStronger—Finding Hope in Fragile Places
by Angela Thomas  (Ladies Sunday School class)

Through biblical teaching and real life application, this study teaches that believers do not have to live in weakness.  God is stronger than every struggle you will ever face.  This study will guide women into biblical truth through exposition and story, so they live confident, transformed, Christ-radiating lives marked by His strength.  This ladies’ class will be meeting in the old homeschool library.

A Praying Life2A Praying Life: Connecting with God in a Distracting World by Paul E Miller (20s and 30s class)

Explore prayer not as a “structured process” but as connecting with God in a truthful and genuine way.  Recognize that Biblical prayer flows not primarily from a disciplined “ought to” mindset but from a recognition that we can’t do life on our own and we need God.   Explore subtle cultural inhibitors to a Biblical mindset concerning prayer.  Learn how to deal with and understand unanswered prayer.  Learn to use prayer tools to facilitate your prayer life.  Parents will find the author’s family-life experiences especially helpful.  This class meets in the old library.
